Tour our Farm.

Experience sustainable farming in the Glens of Antrim

Have you ever wondered where the food on your plate really comes from?  Have you ever thought about how it was reared and produced?  Well here at Glenarm Redspark Lamb we have often thought about those questions and we would love to share the answer with you.Come and find out for yourself and see how our award winning Glenarm Redspark Lamb is produced for your plate.

Book one of our farm tours to find out from your host farmer/shepherd Eamonn what makes our lamb so special and highly sought after by restauranteurs and culinary experts.  We would love to show you around our farm, taking time to walk our guests through the seasonality of farming from making breeding decisions in the Autumn through to new lambs being born in the Spring.  You will find yourself in a landscape unchanged over the centuries that Eamonn’s family have farmed here, it’s obvious why Glenarm Redspark Lamb has such a small carbon footprint.

Come and meet the farm dogs, Ava, Gina & Laddie and watch on in awe as Eamonn demonstrates their skills of gathering sheep.  With a gentle whistle or hand gesture watch the dogs work together in harmony in carrying out their commands.  Listen and observe as Eamonn tells how his family have farmed this land through the generations with the environment and landscape at the heart of every decision.

You will be taken on an open air tour where you will be able to enjoy the rugged scenery and unrivalled views from the comfort of your seat.  Join in the farmwork by helping to carry out some of the many tasks and jobs that are part of being a sheep farmer, help roll up a sheep fleece, feed a pet lamb, gather the sheep from the fields, or plant a tree whilst taking in the silence and tranquillity of this way of life.

Once you have built up your appetite and before saying goodbye to Laddie (he’s everyone’s favourite) you shall be treated to some delicious dishes created and cooked by Eamonn using our own Glenarm Redspark Lamb.

Book through our online booking system below. All tours last ninety minutes and parts may not be suitable for children under two years old. Sturdy footwear and warm, preferably waterproof clothing is recommended.
